Bright Beginnings Foundation is pleased to announce two holiday fun-draising opportunities! From now until December 22nd, come and join the fun!
The work we do behind the scenes to help our students cannot take place without your support. Your donations and participation in our fundraising events are greatly appreciated.
Purdys Chocolate Fundraiser
Ready for a holiday sweet treat? Consider supporting BBF by purchasing Purdys chocolates online. You can order until December 1, and BBF will receive a percentage of all sales. Our goal is to raise $2,000. Please help us meet or beat this!
Pickup will be available in North Delta on or after December 15, 2023. We will provide more details closer to December 15.

- Click “Join a Campaign”
- Create an account or login
- If prompted to enter a Customer Number, enter 67952
- You will be directed to BBF’s campaign page
- Click “Shop Online” at the top of the page
- You can shop using the Online Order Form or Marketplace (which includes product photos)
- Shop and enjoy!
- You can add to your order until December 2nd. Just use the same email and password.
We will notify you when your order is ready for pick up. Thank you for your support.
Holiday Gift Wrapping
BBF, in partnership with the Surrey Fire Fighters Charitable Society, is excited about this new fundraising opportunity: wrapping holiday gifts at Guildford Mall! Not only is this a wonderful way to raise money for our students, but it’s also a great way to meet people in our community and spread the word about Bright Beginnings. Gift wrapping experience is not required. All materials are supplied.
In order to make this event a success, we need volunteers. We are reaching out to our amazing supporters to join us in the gift-wrapping booth at Guildford Town Centre Mall on the following dates:
Saturday December 9th
Friday December 15th
Tuesday December 18th
Friday December 22nd
Time slots on all days are flexible. Mall hours are 10:00 am to 9:00 pm

BBF Student Update
One of our two students currently enrolled is in her second year at SFU taking business classes. She did well in her first year and is enjoying her studies. Our most recent student has just started her program at Douglas College with aspirations to become a psychologist. She is excited to have begun her academic journey.
