Rae-Anne is near and dear to our hearts. It was her story that gave Bright Beginnings Foundation the final push we needed to start our organization almost eight years ago. When we heard her story, we realized that the dream of starting a foundation which provides full-ride bursaries was indeed possible.

Rae-Anne will share her life story of struggle and resilience.  This young woman and Slam Poet is now working professionally to support youth who face oppression and poverty.  She believes that access to post-secondary education is key to overcoming the hurdles that face so many Surrey graduates.

How do I reserve my seats?

Four years ago, we charged $55 per person for an evening of fun and entertainment. This time, despite inflation, the price is the same. In order to make that possible, we have to cut our costs. In the past we sold seats through Eventbrite, but they take a per ticket fee. Therefore, we are asking for payments through e-transfer or cheque.

Two easy ways:

1    You can e-transfer the fee of $55 per ticket to this email tnrneuman@hotmail.comand enter the name BBF.In the memo section, please include BBF2023, the name your tickets will be under and your phone number. Click here for e-transfer instructions. We will call you for special instructions (such as who you want to sit with). The tickets will be waiting at the door for you.

2    You can send a cheque made out to “Bright Beginnings Foundation” and include a “special instructions” note. Please send cheque to:
